About Us

Iso Baseball’s mission is to design and develop scientifically based baseball/softball hitting instructional devices coupled with baseball/softball instructional hitting videos isolating specific body parts and kinetically linking these body parts to maximize the teaching and coaching possibilities in a scientifically based approach coupled with an experienced based approach for baseball instruction. This effort is designed to improve a baseball player’s body movements and performance including generating more power when hitting a baseball while at the same time improving plate management when swinging a baseball/softball bat or hitting a baseball/softball. It is also our desire to demonstrate and teach how closely related mechanically and kinetically swinging a baseball/softball bat is to throwing a baseball.

Iso Baseball’s leadership believes teaching baseball hitting (and throwing) with a more scientific based approach coupled with an experienced based approach can more fully maximize a player’s performance and improve the way baseball/softball is being played and taught. The future of sports performance in all areas of sport including baseball and softball will continue to improve and evolve with the use of scientifically based principles and technologies.

We understand that the baseball community has been relatively slow to adapt to scientifically based principles when teaching the game of baseball, but we also recognize that sports in general has begun to use more scientifically based principles to improve movements and performance. We feel baseball will evolve and be no different than other sporting venues with adapting scientifically based principles for improving performance. We believe that IsoBaseball has the resources and knowledge in place to lead a movement in the development of scientifically based baseball devices in conjunction with scientifically based instructional videos that will improve a player’s performance. And we are launching our company during a great time of need for the baseball community!

There is a greater need now more than ever before for parents, little league coaches and high school and college coaches to understand how to teach their players how to generate more power when hitting a baseball because of the new BBCOR regulations. We believe you must understand that great hitters are not affected by the type of bat they are using, whether it be a wooden bat, aluminum bat, composite bat, BECR certified bat, BBCOR certified bat or any other bat. Great hitters know how to generate power and manage the plate. These new regulations affect the hitting strength of players with less than an elite level swing. IsoBaseball wants the baseball player and coach to understand this and we will teach you the principles of a kinetically sound baseball swing so that your hitting power and effectiveness will be as good as ever regardless of the top of bat you choose or have to use. We will teach you why elite level players can still hit home runs with a wooden bat or BBCOR certified bat.

Small ball has its place. But so does power! Dr. Yeager has spent years studying, testing, understanding and training the elite level baseball swing while isolating and training various body parts and kinetically linking these body parts into one fluid motion. The timing of our company launch and the release of Dr. Yeager’s teachings to the world in an easy to understand format could not have been better. The BBCOR bats have many people concerned about run production and an inability of the hitter to hit homeruns or to hit for power. Parents, coaches and players need to know the full truth about the elite level baseball swing. Parents, coaches and players have no need to be concerned about power or a huge shift in the way the game should be played. The game does not have to become a total small ball game. It can still be played with power as well! Dr. Yeager will show you why great hitters are not concerned about hitting productivity and can teach you why hitting can be as productive and powerful as always once you become a fan of The Science Of The Perfect Swing – IsoBaseball.

The introduction of science is a different approach to teaching the game of baseball from what has been done traditionally. The game of baseball has been taught by experienced baseball players in an attempt to share how these players/coaches played the game of baseball, and to teach others in their methods of teaching and learning the game of baseball. Most of this instruction is experience based, but hardly understood scientifically. While this teaching method can be effective, we believe it limits the fullness of learning possibilities for the developing player and limits the developing player’s potential to maximize performance. We also believe that there has been a shift away from some very sound baseball teaching methods such as “driving off of the back side and hitting against the front side” in favor of less than sound teaching methods when hitting a baseball such as “squishing the bug, sitting and spinning and knob to the ball”.

We are going to teach you what the elite player is doing scientifically and then show you what to do to become an elite level player. Great hitters know how to hit, even if they don’t know the science of why it works. IsoBaseball uses the science of the swing to teach you “how” to hit (like a great hitter) and we give you the “why” it works.

We believe teaching with a more scientific based approach coupled with the traditional experience based approach can more fully maximize a player’s performance and improve the way the game is being played and taught. We are witnessing the use of scientifically based principles in many sporting venues such as golf, tennis, strength and speed conditioning, swimming and other sports. The use of scientifically based equipment and clothing is also being developed in some of these sports. Baseball has also advanced its equipment technologically. The future of sports performance will continue to improve and evolve with the use of scientifically based principles and technologies . This is an unmet need in the teaching of baseball to a large degree and we feel IsoBaseball is very equipped to meet several of those needs immediately and to be a catalyst for development of many other technologies to meet more of these needs in the future.
